"Lydia Day"

Yesterday was "Lydia Day". We had a fun day planned out just for her and we had a blast!! We try to do special things with just her so that she still feels special. She had all of our attention for so long, we know she still needs that one-on-one time with us.

We started out the day by making Rudolph cupcakes for her class party. I saw this idea on Pinterest and could not wait to make them!

We had a few meltdowns while decorating the cupcakes because Lydia kept wanting to eat the decorations and could not keep her hands out of the icing! Thankfully we all survived and our cupcakes turned out pretty cute!

Is this not the cutest idea?!?

Mid-afternoon, Mimi came over to watch Jack Henry so we could take Lydia out. Our first stop was Target for her to pick out a present for her baby brother. She did so well picking out a present for him. Of course, she did pick something that he could share with her! =)

After shopping, we headed to a local pizza place for dinner.

After dinner, she wanted a treat. Of course, when we asked her where she wanted to go, she said Lemon Tree! So, Lemon Tree it was!

 Love this little girl!

Genny came along with us for the evening. Lydia even shared her yogurt with her! =) She loves her giraffe.

After Lemon Tree, it was time to go look at Christmas lights.

I loved hearing her reaction from the back seat. She had so much fun!

So thankful we were able to take her out and spend a little time with just her. Can not wait until Jack Henry is big enough to go out with us to look at lights!
