I'M SIX WEEKS OLD!
Okay...Okay... I know that it's been way too long since I've made a post! I promise that I've tried, but it just has not happened! The past few weeks have been busy. Seems like eveytime I sit down to do anything, Lydia has other plans for me! Guess I should get used to it! She has her own plan for my day! Wouldn't trade it for anything though!
Lydia was six weeks old on Friday and is getting more and more alert everyday! She is just too cute! She is starting to make eye contact when you talk to her. It does not last long, but she looks in your direction. We think she is around 7 pounds and growing. She can still wear most of her preemie clothes (she is too long for some) and is finally fitting into some of her newborn outfits. They are a little big on her, but they are wearble! This past Saturday was her due date! Crazy to think that she was not even supposed to be here until then.

One day old....
Lydia on her "due date"! She's changed so much...but she still LOVES to sleep!
Our first "road trip" to Searcy was great! Lydia did such a good job being around everyone. We wondered how she would do being passed around and everything, but she was a trooper! She finally got to meet her cousin Eden, Uncle Mike and Aunt Leanne. Can't wait until they are bigger and get to play together! I'm sure they will be a handful! :)

After we got home that night...this is how she fell asleep..."no more pictures...please!" :)
On April 19th, we had our family shower for Lydia. We had planned on doing it before she was born, but she wanted to be here for the party. The shower was a HUGE blessing! We thank God for all of our family and friends. It was wonderful to visit with everyone...even though everyone really only wanted to see Lydia. She had fun at her party and was worn out when it was over!
We had revival at church last week, and we decided that we would try to go. On Sunday night, Lydia stayed awake the whole service! It was the first time that she did not pass out in the car before we left the neighborhood! She seemed to enjoy it and was very good! :) We took her to Sunday morning church for the first time this past Sunday. Again, she dids so good! Slept right through it! :) It was soo good to see everyone. We are looking forward to getting back!
