Totally Random

This girl has become the dress up queen! She used to not want anything to do with hats, bags or sunglasses (have NO idea why!), but lately every time we go into a store I can't keep hats off her head! She's so goofy!

So glad that it's finally feety jammie weather!

 Just posing before school

 Lydia the firefighter =)

Lydia playing dress up in my halloween costume my Grandmother made me when I was in 3rd grade. It's really big on her, but she LOVED twirling around and being a princess in it. So sweet.

 Digging in the dirt outside,

Love my one-on-one time with Jack Henry while Lydia is at school on Monday and Wednesday.

All ready for school! She made a card/note for her teacher, Mrs. Helen, before school. Praying that she will always be such a good little encourager.

 Sweetest smile ever!

Digging in the dirt ... again. =)

Aunt Pammie Got Married!!

Soccer Super Star by day ....

Beautiful Princess Flower Girl by night! =)

Lydia was so excited to wear her princess fairy dress and be a part of Aunt Pammie's wedding! She loved being a flower girl in Craig and Tiffany's wedding and couldn't wait to be one again.

 Lydia with her Pops. =)

Lydia and sweet Josie Mae. Are they not the cutest little flower girls?!?

I thought this was the sweetest picture. So glad I captured it.

The best family picture we got. =( Jack Henry was not interested in anyone at this point ... or having his picture taken. He's so shy sometimes it's kind of funny! Guess he's like his momma. =)

Me and the sweet flower girl killing some time before the wedding. It was hard to keep her out of the dirt and from climbing all the big rocks while we were waiting.

Me and my little man ... As you can see, no interest in having his picture taken. =)
Jeff and his little guy ... Still no interest!

 Daddy's little girl =)

Just like in Craig and Tiffany's wedding, Lydia barely dropped any flowers on the way down the aisle. So, afterwards, she made a trail of them and then picked them all back up. She had so much fun doing that!

Lydia with Aunt Pammie and all the big girls

This little guy was getting a little vocal during the wedding, so we went for a little walk. He's all smiles now! =) Thankfully the wedding was outside and had a beautiful view of the Arkansas River.

Posing after her flower girl duties were over ... and before the DANCING started!

I think this girl would have stayed ALL night long and danced. She had the best time. I wish I would have had my real camera. Accidentally sent it home with my mom and Jack Henry. =( Oh well.

Taking a SHORT break from all her dancing to eat some cake. She scarfed it down and was back out on the dance floor!

She's already asking when the next wedding is going to be. She's ready for more dancing! =)

Congratulations Brent and Pam! We love y'all!!

Quick Little Road Trip

I LOVE Thursdays during the fall. Jeff is off of work and it's so much fun. =) It's nice because we can get out and do stuff together as a family, but not fight the weekend crowds. Stinks after the new year though ... we get spoiled to having Jeff home for basically a 4 days weekend, minus Friday nights.

Today, Jeff had an errand to run in Lake Hamilton, so we all loaded up and went with him! It is so nice being able to do stuff like that now. I know it will only get easier as the kids get older, but I'm not ready for that. ;)

Waiting very patiently on Daddy to get home from Bible study and getting his oil changed. =)

All loaded up and ready to go! Jeff hooked up their new DVD player and that helped pass the time.

Silly girl and her silly smile =)

He LOVES watching Lydia in the car. It's so sweet!

I guess he didn't get enough to eat at lunch! Crazy boy!

On the way home, I noticed Lydia was getting quiet and her eyes were really getting heavy. Next thing I knew ... she was passed out!

We got stuck in traffic for about 30 minutes, so she got a nice little nap on the way home.  She was OUT!

We survived!! =)

Blessed

There have been days lately that have been downright hard. Lydia has developed the typical 4 year old girl attitude/sassiness. Jack Henry is into EVERYTHING ... you name it, he's into it! But, even through all the tough days I go to bed at night feeling totally blessed.

I spend most of my time with these 2 kiddos I can't imagine doing anything else.

Look at that smile! She's looking so much older the past few days and it's breaking my heart. I wish time would slow down just a little bit.

And his sweet face! He's so much fun and such a love bug!

Does he look mischievous or what?!? ;)

What?!? Doesn't everyone watch TV like this?!?

Lil man escaped before I could get the picture taken!

Love them!!

Happy Birthday, Michael!

It was so fun going out and celebrating my brother's birthday. He picked a yummy catfish place in Benton! It was SO good! My mom and aunt were in town, so they were able to come and join the party, too. Wish I had taken more pictures ... but I didn't. =( Story of my life!

Jack Henry and I with the birthday boy and Harper.

Ahh! These 2 girls are getting more and more beautiful every day. =)

Jack Henry's silly face! =)

Game Day

Saturdays are GAME DAY at our house! Lydia has her soccer game first ... and then it's time for Red Wolf football! She of course takes priority! ;)

Sporting the all blue uniform (well, with the pink socks of course!)

Her biggest fan!! He doesn't look to interested, but I promise, he doesn't miss a thing!

Lydia's team ... she's the only girl =)
So far she hasn't seemed to notice or care, so that's nice. She told me after the first day of school that she didn't like to stand in line behind boys because they stink. While I didn't disagree with her, I told her that wasn't something that she needed to say! ;)

Going for the ball

And she's off!

And she's down! This girl falls more than any other player. I think she kind of likes it! I keep telling her "stay on your feet" ... maybe it will sink in before too long.

One messy little guy ... gold fish, grilled cheese, milk, graham crackers, snot and slobber! Ick!

Lydia loves these 2!

After the game, we rushed home and my mom and aunt were waiting at the house for us. We were supposed to drop the kids off in Searcy while we went to the ASU game, but they had no air, so they came down. So thankful they offered!

After getting the kids semi-settled and changed we ran out the door and headed to Jonesboro. After some quick shopping for ASU gear we headed to the stadium for the first home game.

Liberty Bank presenting a check to ASU to go towards their amazing new sports complex they are going to build. They have also named the stadium "Liberty Bank Stadium". Kind of cool to be there for that!

We beat Memphis ... It wasn't easy, but they got the job done!

We had a great time and so thankful for my mom, aunt and Jeff's mom for watching the kiddos so we were able to go. Looking forward to several more games this year! Some exciting things are happening at ASU and it's so fun to be a part of that! Go stAte!
