Rainbolt Family Christmas

We survived and made it to our last family get together! So glad my dad and Nancy came up to Searcy and we were all able to be together.

I LOVE this train that my dad made for Jack Henry! It is beautiful and something that he will play with for YEARS! The fun part will be keeping him from banging up the baseboards and finding some where to put it! ;)

Some serious concentration going on in this picture!

She loves any kind of bow you put on her head!

From the looks of this picture you would think he was mad or screaming ... but I don't think a sound was coming out of his mouth! Hah! He is so silly!

PJ's on and all is quite and peaceful ...

I'm not sure I've ever seen them so still ...

I couldn't decide which one I liked better, so I put both ...

Cute ...

And ...
Sassy!

Hall Family Christmas

Today is the last day of family Christmas craziness!! While we love spending time with everyone, we all start to wear down after  9 get togethers! =)

Jeff and Lydia headed to Little Rock for Hall family Christmas. I decided it would be best for Jack Henry to get a good nap before our last Christmas tonight. We hated not to go and missed seeing everyone, but just felt like it was what was best for us.

She loves Christmas!

Harper and Jack Henry bonding over the Kindle. =)

Jack Henry was excited to have more presents to open when he woke up from his nap!

This was as good of a smile as I could get out of him. He wanted Gordon out of that package ASAP!

Yay for a new movie and new cars! This boy loves anything that goes! =)

Clay Family Craziness

What a crazy day ...

Me and my little man!! I love this boy more than words could ever say!

More reindeer cupcakes! Yumm!

Hanging out waiting on the line to die down before we fixed our plates.

This table was keeping us entertained while we waited! Such sweet girls and Jack Henry.

After total chaos of opening presents, we actually were able to get a picture with all of the "cousins", (except Brisco and Elle) in one picture! They aren't all looking at the same camera or smiling, but what do you expect for a bed time picture?!?

It didn't feel the same this year because Grandmother and Aunt D were both sick ... and then early afternoon mom started to feel sick so she quarantined herself to her room for the night. Missed them being in amongst the craziness! Guess we will just have to do it again!

Christmas with Granna

Decorating cookies at Granna's house! Loved watching the girls and how serious they were about each and every cookie they did. Jack Henry woke up from his nap when they were still decorating so he had to get in on the action. Of course, he was more interested in eating them then decorating them!

She was so excited about her pencil and paper set!

Love how Jack Henry wants to play with his toys as soon as he gets them opened. It's so sweet!

I see a lot of bracelet making in our future!!

Drilling!

It's hard to help open presents and take pictures ... Maybe one day I'll be able to get more/better pictures!

Santa Came!

YAY!! Santa CAME!!

As you can see, Jack Henry isn't so sure what all the fuss is about! He's still half asleep!

Lydia reading the letter from Elfie ...

Jack Henry was more interested in the cookies that Santa left than listening to Lydia read!

Opening a present, but keeping an eye on what Lydia's doing. =)

Still watching ... =)
She loves her new binoculars and bird book she got. Can't wait until we can go exploring this spring!

Santa wrapped some of his gifts a little too well!

Woohoo for new pink gloves and fancy ear muffs!

Trying out her new pen and paper right away.

After breakfasts and showers it was time to open a few more presents. It was so nice this year to not have any where we had to be Christmas day. Every year we've had some where to be around 10 Christmas morning and then we head to Searcy after that so it makes for a CRAZY morning. It was nice to be lazy and spend time together just the 4 of us.

Yay for her first set of chapter books. We can not wait to dig into these Magic Tree House books.

Yay for new colored pencils!

Working hard to unwrap his presents.

She loves her new doodle book.

And Jack Henry loves his new markers!

Me and my silly girl

Photo credits go to Lydia =)

The only thing about not seeing anyone else on Christmas day is that you can't get a family picture! Love how this one turned out though!!

Here Comes Santa Claus!

After we got home from Pops and Reedee's, got teeth brushed and Jack Henry in bed (poor guy was exhausted from all the partying!) it was time to get ready for Santa and his reindeer!

Cookies are out and reindeer food sprinkled on the ground!

She was so excited about the thought of the reindeer eating her food outside!

Both kids passed out very quickly ... as you can see, they were exhausted!

The tree all ready for 2 excited kiddos to wake up tomorrow morning! (Ignore the HUGE dark section of the tree. Lights went out after it was decorated and I just didn't have it in me to add more lights!)

Elfie has a little reminder for the kids in the morning ... Santa and presents are fun, but Christmas is Jesus' BIRTHDAY!! So glad we are able to celebrate His day!

Good night ... and Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve Part 2

After naps, we loaded up and headed to Pops and Reedee's for another round of Christmas!

We had 2 excited kiddos ... A Barbie car and house and Tonka trucks!!

Checking out her new sticker book from Aunt Pammie and Uncle Brent.

Love Adrien in the background of this picture with his Ninja Turtle mask on!

This kid got comfy on the floor and broke in his new trucks! He loves that he can see his reflection on the trash can. Silly boy loves looking at himself!! We may be in trouble!

So glad we were able to spend some time with everyone! I of course failed to take more pictures than I did. =(
