A Night @ the Park

Jeff and I took Lydia to the park one night last week for a walk...and to let her play. She had a BLAST! She loves the swing and gets so tickled when she is on it! It's too cute!

Love that lil smile

"Whee..."

Check out her little crocs! Beth's mom got those for her last year! I'm so glad she can finally wear them!
She is also a big fan of the slide! She didn't get to slide for long because there were some bigger kids that were going crazy. We decided to get her off before she got hurt.
Lovin' the slide!
She is such a "Daddy's Girl"!
Here are a few pictures of Lydia in her rocking chair from Pops and Reedee. She finally figured out how to get in it on her own and it's so cute! She gets rocking in it so hard that she pops out and jumps...and then freaks out because she doesn't know how she did it!
Rocking her babies

Popping out of her seat!
Everyday she is getting more and more fun! She is walking around like a pro! It's amazing how good she has got in just the past week! She's walking more than crawling and getting into everything! You can tell that it's a whole new world to her. She can see and get to new things, and she is loving it! It keeps us on our toes and we can't let her get out of our sight for a second! We are looking forward to the summer and all the fun that comes with it!

Lovin' the Spring!

Just so you know...there are A LOT of pictures! Sorry!

In the last post, I mentioned that we had a busy Easter, but never got into what made it so busy! When we got to Searcy on Sunday, we ate lunch...and then had to unload the moving truck that we had loaded the day before. It was packed full...and pouring down rain outside! The boys did all the hard work, but then the "girls" had to mess with unpacking all the boxes and putting stuff where it belonged. Jeff took off Monday and Tuesday, so we stayed in Searcy to help out as much as we could. We had fun and enjoyed the time away. Lydia even got in on all the fun!
We used her to smash down the paper!
The week before Easter, Lydia and I went to have our monthly lunch date with Jeff. I enjoy getting out and getting to have lunch with him once a month. And Lydia loves it too! She's turning into such a "daddy's girl"!
Hmm....hard @ work? Or hardly working?
Lydia loves playing with the Easter eggs and her Easter basket! She knows just what to do with them!
She puts them in...and then takes them out. She'll do this over and over and over again!
I love that the weather is finally warming up! Not only do I love warm weather, I'm so excited for Lydia to wear her spring and summer clothes! She has some really cute stuff that's just been sitting in her closet waiting for the weather to get warmer. =) We were able to get out today and enjoy the weather. It was BEAUTIFUL outside! Here are a few pictures that I took of her today...
How low can she go??
Lower...
Think that's it! She sat like this for the longest time...my legs would have been killing me!
Lydia has started to walk everywhere! It's so crazy! She has been "walking" a little bit here and there...but now she's walking more than she's crawling. She woke up from her nap on Saturday afternoon and just took off walking and has not slowed down since then. It's so weird to see her moving around like she is. I wish that I could figure out how to upload video, but since I can't, here is a few pictures.

Tonight, Lydia had chicken and mashed potatoes for dinner, and decided it would be fun to wear her dinner! She was a mess! The picture doesn't do justice, but you can tell a little bit! She thought it was hilarious!

What a mess!

One tired girl!

Little side note, Lydia has been going to bed all on her own for 5 nights now! It's been so nice not to have to rock her at night...but I do miss it! I can't believe how big she is getting. She is so much fun and keeps us on our toes! You never know what to expect out of her!

If you look closely, you can see hair in her bow! Yea!

So much fun!!

Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful (and busy) Easter!! Lydia's Easter started a little early on Friday when she had a little present from Pops and Reedee waiting for her outside when she woke up from her nap!

Hmm...what's this?

Wow! My own cell phone and new rubber duckies!

"Hello??"

Saturday night, the Easter bunny made a stop at our house! This is what he left!

Books...

Bubbles...

Bows, Beanies and Blocks!

We had an early service at church, so there wasn't much time for pictures or playing, but we got a few pictures before we left.

Lovin' on my baby girl!

Love her!

Daddy's lil girl!

Jeff had to play drums during the early service, so Lydia and I sat in the cry room. She LOVED the music and danced almost the whole time! It was too cute! Wish I had the video camera with me!

Chillin' in the pew

She was worn out after church and passed out on our way to Searcy

Thanks for the super cute dress Grandmother! We LOVE it!

Fun Easter Pictures!

Here are some fun Easter pictures that I took of Lydia. We had so much fun taking them! =) Hope that you enjoy!

We SURVIVED!

Friday night, Lydia went and stayed the night with Jeff's mom and stepdad...her first overnight stay away from us. I don't know who it was harder on! We missed her like crazy! The house just was not the same without her there. Saturday morning when we were getting around, it was so quiet. I didn't like it one bit! She had a wonderful time with Nena K and Papa T though. Saturday we spent the day helping my Aunt Betty pack and move. It was a lot of work, but we had a really good time spending the day with everyone.

Me and Lydia before we dropped her off...I did good and didn't cry (but I wanted to!)

When we went to pick up Lydia, she was so excited to see us. I almost cried when I saw her! She looked like she had changed so much in just one day. She didn't sleep too well while she was gone. On our way home, she passed out before I ever got on the interstate.

She was OUT!

So sweet!

We've had a few issues with "seperation anxiety" since then. I guess she really missed us! Sunday was really rough! Everytime one of us would leave the room, even if the other was in the room, she would start crying. It was so sad! It's getting a little bit better though! She watches us very closely, and makes sure we don't get too far out of her sight.

This is what happened if we left the room or sat her down! It was pitiful! We didn't even try to put her in the nursery!

Not sure when we will leave her again overnight...but glad that we got the first time over with! We are planning a trip to Florida (an early anniversary trip) in August, so we are going to try to work our way up to leaving her for several days. I'm sure it won't be easy!
Thanks Nena K and Papa T for watching her! Hope she didn't wear you out too bad!
