Lovin' The Park in November!

Lydia had a blast at the park on Sunday afternoon! We had to carry her out when it was time to leave ... she was not very happy with us! Luckily it lasted all of about 2 seconds and then she was over it! She is such an outdoors girl and loves anything to do outside. Here are a few pictures from our afternoon at the park!

She LOVED the swing! I think she could have stayed in there all afternoon if we had let her!
Whoa!!

I can't believe how big she is getting! Doesn't seem right for her to be up there all by herself!

Wheeeee!!

Peek-a-boo Mommy!!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that sweet smile!

She had a blast with the steering wheel! She knew just what to do!

Can't you tell?!?

Ready Or Not ...

Here ...

I COME!!!

She really liked this little slide!

Bumps, Curves and all!

We are hoping we have a few more fall days like this to enjoy before winter hits. While I'm not a fan of winter ... I love all that comes with it! As everyday passes, I get more and more excited about celebrating Thanksgiving and Christmas this year with Lydia. I have so many fun memories of Thanksgiving and Christmas from when I was a child, and I can't wait to make new memories with Lydia!
Right now, she's obsessed with "Danta" or as we like to call him Santa! It sounds SO sweet coming out of her mouth! I'm hoping by her seeing him EVERYWHERE around town, when it comes time to get her picture taken with him she won't freak out. Guess we'll see! Of course we are also trying to teach her the true meaning of Christmas and the book we are reading her is becoming one of her favorites! More on all this to come soon! =)

Leaves!

We've been trying to take full advantage of the beautiful weather that we've had lately! No rain and perfect temperatures have made playing outside a must! Sunday afternoon, after Lydia's nap, we took her to the park to play. There was a big open field full of leaves, so we got a few pictures of her. She wasn't much interested because she spotted the park and all the kids, but we did get a few pictures!

Yea! Leaves are so much fun!

She loved picking up the leaves and feeling them.

Come on! Let's go play!

Does it get much better??

Love these two SO much!

All In A Days Work

Jeff and I are so thankful that we have family that is able to watch Lydia for us when we have things that we need to do or when we want to go on a date or something. We know that Lydia has a blast with her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins!
I had some errands to run last week, so Reedee kept Lydia at the flower shop for me. Lydia LOVES to go up there and gets so excited when we pull in the parking lot! When I picked her up, she showed me these pictures! She put the little girl to work! =)

She had to eat a good breakfast before she got started for the day.

Arranging some flowers in the water bucket.

Mmmm ... She loves to smell flowers!

Hmm ... what do I need to finish the arrangement?

Doing a little office work.

Lets see if I can figure this mouse thing out.

Time for a little paperwork! She is multi-tasking ... 2 pens at once!

Have to put the order in ... and it's all done!

Happy Halloween!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!
We spent Halloween in Searcy this year. Since Jeff works on Friday nights, Lydia and I went up to Searcy on Thursday to spend a long weekend there. We had so much fun! Lydia loves to play at the "G House" as we like to call it!
Mommy's lil munchkin!
This year, we decided Lydia was going to be an ASU cheerleader. We didn't want to spend $40 or $50 on an actual cheer leading outfit that she would not be able to wear very much, so Grandmother made her an outfit! She looked so cute in it and is able to wear it a lot more than she would the other! Lydia's "Aunt Cassie" even found her some little red and black pom poms (which she LOVES to play with!) and it completed the outfit!

Daddy's little cheerleader

With Nena K and Papa T. They took Lydia to Antioch's Fall Fest. Papa T took her around during the trunk treats and she came home with a bag full of candy! So far, she has not liked any of it!

Getting some lovin' from Grandmother!

Going "trick-or-treating" with Daddy!

Helping Aunt D pass out candy to trick-or-treaters! She loved helping her!

She was so excited to see her cousins Mary Evelyn and Caroline at the door!

She would not smile for anything!! Mary Evelyn and Caroline were so cute as Bat Girl and Hannah Montana!

She loves hangin' out with Uncle Craig when we are in Searcy!

Eden looked adorable as a fairy!

All the little girls together! We missed having Ava and Andrew here!

We had a lot of fun this year and know that it will only get more fun as she gets older! I have so many fun memories from Halloween and I can't wait to watch Lydia enjoy it in the next few years! Already starting to think about next year and what she should be! =) It's never too early to start planning is it?!?

Happy Birthday Nena K!

Monday was Jeff's mom's birthday, so Lydia and I went by her work to surprise her with a birthday balloon and some sugar cookies. Before we went by, we had to make a Walmart run and Lydia wanted to take her BIG baby in! She looked so cute sitting in the cart with her baby!

She is so loving to her! As soon as I put her in the cart, she instantly put her arm around her!

She loves to love on her baby! So sweet!

Monday night, I cooked a birthday dinner and Tim, Karen, and Stephen (Tim's nephew) came over to eat. We had a wonderful time hanging out with them! Lydia loves to have people over the house! She takes every opportunity to show out and pull out all her toys!

Showing Stephen her insects!

Showing Nena K and Papa T her favorite photo album!

Reading with Nena K.

Playing with Papa T!
We are so thankful that we live close by our family! We love being able to spend time with everyone and they are able to be so involved in Lydia's life.
