Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!!

Jack Henry wanted NOTHING to do with taking pictures today. =( So, we didn't get as many pictures as I wanted ... or very good ones. Guess that's just how it is with a 20 month old!

Love this sweet girl

Showing off his "boo boo" that he got over 2 weeks ago! He's obsessed with it! Not sure what he's going to do when it's completely gone. =)

Love this guy!

Me and my momma

We finally got a semi-decent picture after church. God has really blessed me!!

The Easter Bunny made his stop while we were at church, so the kids had a surprise waiting on them when we got home.

Lydia was so excited to get Stuffy from Doc McStuffins to add to her collection!

Jack Henry loved his body wash! He was showing us how he washes his hair. ;) He's so silly!

Showing Granna his new book with a blue truck on it.

He loved discovering his eggs had bunny snacks in them. His favorite!!

Grandmother came over for lunch and this little bunny LOVED playing with her! She probably completely wore Grandmother out. She woke up early today, so we made her take a little nap. When she woke up, the first thing she asked was to play some more with Grandmother. =)

I am so thankful that we have a risen Savior and have a reason to celebrate. Not only on Easter, but every single day of the year. Jesus died on the cross for our sins. As Lydia says, "He did nothing wrong!" So glad that the story doesn't end there ... 3 days later he rose from the grave! He overcame death! And because of what He did, we can have eternal life, in Heaven, with Him if we only accept Him into our hearts.

Easter Weekend

We had the best time in Searcy for Easter this year. It's always nice to get away for a few days and visit with family. The kids having "new" toys to play with and a different place to run around and be crazy! Thankfully my mom and aunt don't mind our craziness! =)

Jack Henry decided that he needed to help make our dessert for Easter lunch. =)

Lydia loved dumping, pouring and mixing all the ingredients together for the cake.

This however is her FAVORITE part about baking! Licking the beater! She even let Gigi have a lick!

This girl loves her Granna!!

Jack Henry was playing peek-a-boo through the door with Granna. It was so cute!

I failed to get the eggs cooked early enough for them to cool off so the kids could dye them. They were pretty patient about waiting ... but in this picture they were just about done!

Coloring her Easter egg and eating a sucker ... this girl can multi-task. ;)

Working hard

This kept Jack Henry's attention for all of about 2 minutes. =) He did color a few eggs before totally losing it. Grandmother and Lydia ended up finishing the rest of the eggs while Jeff and I tried to keep Jack Henry occupied. Maybe next year he will be a little more into it.

PreK4 Easter Party

Lydia woke up ready for her Easter party at school! She was ready to wear her bunny ears and take her basket full of eggs to school for the egg hunt. =)

Sweet girl all ready for school!

Jack Henry wanted his picture taken ... of course once I turned to get a picture of him, this was the best I got! ;)

This is how he felt about Lydia getting to go to a fun Easter party and he had to miss out! ;)

Lydia's PreK4 class

She is the most passive Easter egg hunter that I've EVER seen! She would get to a group of eggs and would only pick up one, and then move on and leave the rest for someone else to find. It was the cutest/sweetest/funniest thing to watch!

When the hunt was over, she only had 4 eggs in her basket. She didn't seem to mind though! One of her sweet friends, Riley, came over and gave her a few out of her basket. It was so sweet!

She was so glad that Daddy was able to get away from work for a little bit and come to her party.

Mommy's sweet little blue-eyed bunny

Lydia just HAD to take a picture of one of her eggs. ;)

Lydia with Riley and Addison

After the egg hunt, they headed back to their classroom for the Easter party. They had TONS of yummy snacks and treats!

After their snack, they made these cute little bunnies out of a paper cup.

She LOVES all of her friends at school!

Not only did she get a basket full of eggs from the egg hunt, she also walked away with a bunch of other goodies!

Pottery Paintin' Birthday Party

We had Lydia's friend party the weekend after her birthday because of all the craziness with the move. Lydia was so excited to have her friends come to a party and have fun with everyone! =)

Lydia with her birthday cake I made for her. Thankfully she's not too picky about her cakes!

I love making Lydia and Jack Henry's birthday cakes. Hopefully one day I can take a cake decorating class so I can get a little more creative!

Birthday balloons with the birthday girl

 She loves her Daddy!

We had Lydia's party at a pottery place in town. It was PERFECT!!

Turned out to be all girl's at her party. They all seemed to have so much fun picking out their pottery piece, paint and painting.

 Working hard

Love this sweet girl! She was loving all the painting going on. It's one of her favorite activities!

Her finished cupcake. Can't wait to see what it looks like after they finish it.

Most of the girls after they finished their pottery.

Making sure that Daddy was lighting the candles right. ;)

Their is her "happy birthday face" again! So stinkin' funny!

 Present time!

 She had her little entourage!

The girls were making laugh with all their "awwing" over Lydia's presents!

Sweet girls

 Silly girls!

Doc McStuffins was a HUGE hit at the party. All the girls loved her!

One of Lydia's sweet friends brought Jack Henry a present. =) He was so excited to open his present and LOVED his cars!

Lydia had to add a friend for Doc the night of her party with a gift card she got. She loves Lambie and Doc!
