**Warning....there are a TON of pictures in this blog!! I'm way behind!!**
She continues to eat well...but not too sure about "big people food". She will eat a few little bites, and then she is done. Not sure what we are going to do about that! I keep telling her that she can't eat mushed up baby food forever, but she doesn't seem to listen! She is drinking only formula now, and has done so well with it. She started drinking it like that is what she has been drinking since birth...so that was a huge blessing. We've also started to give her a little bit of dairy to see how her body handles it. So far, we have not noticed any problems. We are praying that she is over her dairy allergy.

Her hair is finally starting to come in...her little bed head

BUBBLES!

Look at all that hair!

She is a BIG Daddy's girl!!
We are having so much fun with her! She loves to play with her toys and for you to play with her. One of her favorite games right now is playing chase. She loves for you to get down on the ground and chase after her. She will just squeal and giggle as she tries to crawl away. When you hide from her she will try to come and find you and loves it when she does! Another thing that she loves to do is "read" her books. She will get them all out of her basket and sit on the floor and "read" them for the longest time. It is so sweet! Hopefully she will become a reader like I am! That is one reason for the delay in the blog! My sister-in-laws and cousin's wife got me hooked on the "Twilight" series! And then of course, if Lydia is awake, there is no blogging allowed! If I try, she is right there with me trying to help!

We had a make my hope chest into Lydia's toy box!

2009 started out GREAT! Matt and Beth came in from Michigan, so we were able to spend a few days with them. It was so good to visit with them...too bad it was a short visit! We can not wait for them to come back! By then Lydia will really be into everything! :) Michael and Leanne bought a house just a few minutes away from us, so we are looking forward to lots of fun times ahead! As we looked back on 2008 we had so many wonderful memories! Of course the biggest being Lydia's birth and all that came with that! Those first few weeks were pretty scary, but God took care of us, and it's awesome to look back and see how He worked everything out. We are looking forward to all that God has in store for 2009! We know it will be fun and exciting!

Oh my!! Is Lydia really 10 months old already?? The picture of her in her car seat is so crazy because I remember when you had to do the "car seat test" to be able to bring her home from the hospital!! God is so amazing and Lydia is just so full of life. Don't you just want to have a house full of those bundles of joy?? I am so glad you guys are doing well.
She is adorable!
