PreK4 Thanksgiving Party

Our cute little pilgrim =)

Lydia's Thanksgiving party at school was so cute. Another Mom and I were in charge of the party and it was fun to plan it and get everything ready for it.

Brooke made the cutest turkeys for the table and yummy turkeys filled with Reese's Pieces!

Everyone working on their wooden spoon turkey craft!

Yummy lunch! Of course Lydia's favorite part was the pilgrim hat cookies!

Lydia's class
Are they not so cute in their Indian and Pilgrim costumes?!? Love the aprons the girls made with the handprint turkeys. I think I'm going to frame Lydia's!

Daddy's little pilgrim

My sweet girl

So glad that Jeff was able to sneak away from work for a little bit and be at her party. She loves him being there!

Lydia and her sweet teacher, Mrs. Helen!

Is this not the cutest?!?

The Wonder Place

We bought some coupons to a fun little place in Little Rock called The Wonder Place. Lydia was so excited when we told her we were going somewhere new to play! We took her when she was little, but she doesn't remember. We went after lunch and had the whole place to ourselves! Going to miss places being empty once Jack Henry starts going down for a nap earlier!

She is such a Daddy's Girl!

Jack Henry wanted to be put up on the vet table with the big stuffed dog that is behind him. When I put him up there he started freaking out! He did this 3 or 4 times ... it was so funny!

Playing with the velcro wall and blocks. Wish we had one of these in our house!

I thought he would LOVE splashing around in this water, but he wasn't a fan of it. His face pretty much sums up how he was feeling!

Found some cars like he has at home and he was a happy little guy!

Doing a little art project

Cute little hand print owl

Had to hold him down to get a picture! =) He is one busy little guy!

I think the sand table was Lydia and Jack Henry's (and Jeff's!) favorite part! They were both so content playing in the sand. It was fun to watch!

She thought this was so cool.

Just digging and playing ...

All was good until Jack Henry got a mouthful of sand. =( Talk about NASTY!!

Can't wait until we can go back and play some more!

CatchUp

Let myself get behind on the blog again. =( Life has been so busy lately ... but I want to be able to look back and remember all the fun times we had! So ... here goes nothing! =)

Are these 2 not so cute on their bikes?

We met Mimi down by the river for a little bike ride/walk/jog! The trail was MUCH longer than we thought and Jack Henry was not a fan of the nice leisurely walk we were on, so I spent a majority of the time jogging with him! He loves going fast!

Taking a look at the river

Love peaceful, quiet moments like these! Doesn't seem to happen often enough though! =)

 BAHH!! =)
Little boy and his truck

We took the kids to the new Dunkin Donuts one morning. The kids loved it, but Jeff and I still think Krispy Kreme makes the best donuts. You just can't get any better!

Jeff and I were able to go up to watch ASU play Monroe on a Thursday night. The crowd was HUGE and it was a BIG win! So thankful for our parents giving up their time to watch our kids so we can go to the games. We love our babies, but we also our time together, just the 2 of us!

Jack Henry has started to really love playing with his trucks and trains. He held on to Thomas one day in the car for over 30 minutes. It was so cute!

Lydia posing with Tow Mater outside one afternoon.

I love this picture! He actually looked at the camera and smiled! First time ever! =)

"Nigh Nigh"

I hope that I never forget this ...

Jack Henry has started going to his room all by himself when it's time to go down for a nap or at night for bed. It's the SWEETEST thing ever. He even does it if he hears the word "nap" or "bed".

First he finds his little blankie ...

Then heads down the hall, straight to his room. IF we are lucky, we will get a little hug or kiss out of him. Most of the time he is focused on his room and off he goes. =)

He has even started trying to turn on his fan, noise maker and night light turtle. =)

After a little rocking and singing, he is ready to lay down and go to sleep. Most of the time we don't hear a peep out of him. He passes right out and sleeps so good! We are so thankful we don't have to get up at night and do paci searches since he sucks his thumb!

Sweet boy right after waking up! =)

Now if we could only figure out how to keep him from waking up at 5:30 in the morning ... =)

16 Months Old Already

This little munchkin is 16 months old! What?!? Time is flying by and we are loving every minute of it! Jack Henry has turned into a VERY busy little guy who NEVER slows down!

He is really starting to enjoy looking at books and being read to. Hope he turns into a book lover like Lydia.

Just hanging out! =) He is such a character ... and I think he knows it!

He LOVES Lydia and wants to do anything and everything that she is doing. She was playing the Wii one afternoon and he found the TV remote and was doing what she was. It was the sweetest thing ever!

He looks so big in his overalls!

Jack Henry has started eating everything with a fork. Even "finger food" he wants to use a fork. He's doing really well with getting food on it and getting it into his mouth.

But sometimes he just holds his fork and eats with his other hand. =)

He loves being outside and does really well in the stroller. Makes shopping and going for walks/runs so much easier!

Check out those curls! LOVE them and hope that they stay!

Obviously, Jack Henry is very self sufficient! I went to get his clothes and was gone from the room for MAYBE 1 minute and he pulled his plate of banana from breakfast off the table and was digging in. When I walked in the room he just grinned at me and kept on eating. Such a cutie.

We love this little guy more than words can say. It's crazy how fast he is growing. I feel like I fall more and more in love with him everyday. His smile lights up the room and his giggle can make me smile no matter what kind of day I'm having!

Happy Birthday, Mimi!

 Happy Birthday, Mimi!!

We had a great time celebrating Jeff's mom's birthday downtown in the RiverMarket. We met her and Tim for lunch at the Flying Fish. It was so YUMMY!

Lydia helping Mimi open her card and present. She LOVES birthdays!

Jack Henry LOVED the fish! And he had his first taste of ketchup. He was SO cute dipping his french fry into a cup of ketchup. =)

The weather was beautiful ... a little warm for the first part of November, but we took advantage of it and walked across the river on the new pedestrian bridge. As you can see it was a little bit windy. =)

So thankful for these people! Couldn't ask for a better family to have married into!

Melt my heart ... So blessed!

Love this girl!
