We've been wanting to put Lydia in swimming lessons for a while now, but just have never done it. Today she started her lessons and she did awesome!!
She told me she was nervous while she was eating breakfast this morning. Tried to tell her that her swim teacher was trained to teach her to swim, just like Mrs. Helen was trained to teach her letters, numbers, etc. That seemed to ease her fears a little bit. =)
This guy was a trooper during her lesson! Hopefully the next 7 will go just as smoothly!
Waiting her turn on the wall
She's VERY tense, but she did everything her teacher asked her to do. Hopefully she will loosen up as she gets more comfortable in the water!
She got out asking to stay and swim longer! Guess that's a good sign!
We went for a little treat since she listened so well in her lesson. =) She was so excited!! (By the way, she shared her donuts!)
This little boy was in heaven!! There was a motorcycle outside the window and they are doing construction on the road by the donut shop so there were diggers and scrappers working outside and he was SO happy!
Waving bye bye to the motorcycle. ;)
After donuts and dropping off some dry cleaning, I decided to swing by the park on the way home. The weather is PERFECT so I didn't want to pass up a pretty day! When it's 73 outside in June you have to take advantage of it!
We pulled in the parking lot and Lydia said "MOM!! You are SO sweet!" Hah! She can be so silly ... and so dramatic at times!
There were some kids that were playing a little rough and Jack Henry didn't know what to think about it. He was keeping a close eye on them.
Love these two!
