Playing in the Falling Snow!!

We had our first snowfall of the year ... and unfortunately it didn't amount to anything! =( Lydia was enjoying watching the snow fall out the window, so I decided to take her out so that she could play in the snow as it fell! If you look closely, you can see the snow falling and some on her hat and coat. It wasn't much ... but we take what we can get!

When we first got out she just stood there with her arms out trying to catch the snow!

She had fun stomping around on the sidewalk.

She would pucker up her lips when she said "snow" it was SO CUTE!!

Walking through the frozen grass! I think she liked feeling it crunch under her feet!

Taking a little break and watching the snow fall. It was really pretty!

She had SO much fun out there. We didn't stay for long since it's so cold outside and she already has a little bit of a runny nose. I didn't want to miss a chance for her to get out and "experience" the snow though! I had to drag her in when we got finished ... and she was not to happy with me! From the way everyone is talking, we should have an opportunity to let her get out and play in the snow this winter. I know she will love it!

Ringing in the New Year Right!

Some friends from our small group had a little New Years Eve Party, so Lydia went to Searcy to hang out for the night. This was the first year that we've actually stayed up until midnight in several years! Most years we just stay home (or are still in Searcy from Christmas) and I'm normally in bed by 10 or 10:30! We had a lot of fun hanging out with friends ... but I completely forgot to get my camera out of my bag! Sad day! I did however get some pictures of Lydia (of course!) and took a few from Betty's!

Even though her hat is a little too big, she still looks adorable! She love to be with her Granna!

Playing cars with GiGi! She had so much fun with these, we bought her some cars of her own! =)

My aunt, aka GiGi, had her two granddaughters over, so Lydia had a little "bunkin" party on new years eve! I know she had a blast playing with Mary Evelyn and Caroline!

There must have been something REALLY good on that TV for all 3 girls to be still and quiet!

Lydia with Mary Evelyn and Caroline!

It was nice to have a night out ... and to sleep in the next morning, but I was SO ready to get to Searcy to see our little girl! Hope everyone is having a GREAT new year so far! Can't believe that it's 2010 already! Craziness!

This Girl LOVES Some ...

CHIPS AND SALSA!!

Jeff and I really like Mexican food ... and it looks like Lydia might love it also! She loves to eat a cheese quesadilla. Me and her used to split one, but one night we did, and she ended up eating way more than her half ... and I left hungry! Hah! So now me and her split a meal and she eats the whole quesadilla all by herself!

The last time we were there, she noticed that Jeff and I put our chips in salsa, and she decided she wanted to try some. We barely put her chip in there and gave it to her ... Here is what happened after that!

She loved it so much, she needed her very own bowl of salsa!!

Licking the excess off of her face and dipping her chip in the salsa!

Making sure there was enough on her chip ...

Taking it in ...

Yumm!!

She was cracking us up the way she was eating it! Guess it's better than her eating cheese dip when we go to eat Mexican! =)

Dancing at the 'G' House!

While staying at Mom's house over Christmas ... Lydia and Eden had a spontaneous dance party! It started out them just dancing like this little bouncy snowman my mom and aunt have ... and then it turned into an all out party! Uncle Craig hooked his ipod up to the surround sound and put on some dancing music! As you can tell from the pictures, the girls had a blast! I was laughing so hard I was crying! I'm going to have to learn how to upload video on here, because it is so funny!

Go Girls!!

So cute! Looks like they are dancing with one another!

Eden was so cute! She was even singing to the music!

Watching the snowman jump up and down!

Lydia was laughing SO hard in this picture! Love when she does this laugh ...

Lydia would sign for "more" when ever the music or the snowman stopped!

The girls were burning up, so we put them in their new gowns from Uncle Matt and Aunt Beth!

Eden in her gown ...

and Lydia in her!

They looked like little princess' walking around in them!! Can't wait until they can get together and dance again! =)

Clay Family Craziness!

We had a great time hanging out with the Clay family on Christmas night! There is never a dull moment when we all get together! There are four little girls that love to dance and have a good time ... and you throw sugar and presents ... WHEW! I stole some pictures off of Betty's camera, so I had quite a few to choose from ... so I decided to make a slide show out of the pictures!

We were so happy that Michael, Leanne and Eden stayed at Mom's for the weekend and we were able to spend extra time with them! Lydia and Eden had a of fun playing together. Can't wait until we can all get together again!

Christmas with the Hall Family!

After we packed and loaded the car Christmas morning, we headed over to Jeff's Memaw's house to have Christmas with the Hall family! Again, it was so good to see family that we do not get to see very often! Jeff's cousin, Scott, and his wife, Megan, were in from Alaska ... it was great to see them! Lydia LOVED playing with his other cousin, Charlie's, little girl Heidi! They had so much fun together!!

Some of the family before we played a little Dirty Santa!

She looks SO big in this picture! She loved playing with these swinging doors ... they made me a nervous wreck though! Was so scared she was going to pinch a finger or something!

Lydia spotted this present with Dora on it the second we walked in the door ... and could hardly wait to tear into it!!

Finally, she got to open it! It's a new play kitchen!

Lydia and Heidi opening their gifts! She's such a sweet little girl!

Opening her gifts ... she got some really cute toys and books!

Look at her pile! She started to get a little overwhelmed I think!

She loves her new LeapFrog Fridge Phonics toy! She was SO excited when she heard Tad's voice on it! She could hardly believe it!

We feel SO blessed to have family that we can spend the holidays with ... and so many other days out of the year! God has truly blessed us!

Santa Came!!

After Lydia was fast asleep in her bed ... Santa came by for a little visit! He loved the cookies and milk that she left out for him! He said that she had been a really good girl this year, so he left a few surprises for her ...

She did not know what to think when I took her in and she saw her pile of presents!

It didn't take her long to spot the "Beby"!!

She LOVES Slinky's ... so she got one in her stocking! She loves it!

Taking a break from opening presents to take care of her baby!

What is it?!? What is it?!? Another puzzle! Yea!

Oooo ... a new ...

APRON! Can't wait until we can cook together and wear our aprons!

Still holding her baby ... and opening presents! Such a multi-tasker! She'll make a great mom one day!

Santa also left a few things for Jeff under the tree! Lydia loved being able to help him open his gifts! =)

I have so many memories of Christmas morning ... coming down the stairs with my three brothers and seeing what Santa had brought! I really hope one day Lydia can look back and remember all of the Christmas memories from when she was a little girl!

Cookies and Milk for Santa!!

We made gingerbread cookies for Santa! Lydia decided that she needed to try them out to make sure that they tasted okay!

This one tastes pretty good!!

Now I'll try out this one ...

Ahh ... now I need a drink of milk!

Yummm!! These are really good!!
