We only have a couple more "Mommy & Lydie Friday Nights" left ... so we are taking full advantage of them! Even though we love having our girl time, we are SO ready for Daddy to be home with us on Friday nights. It makes it so much more fun!
We started out by making some Pumpkin Cake Mix cookies. If you have never tried them ... you REALLY need to! Super easy and very tasty!! I posted the recipe here.
Lydia LOVES to help in the kitchen! Hope it continues as she gets older. So many fun memories in the kitchen growing up. As you can tell, she worked very hard to get the sprinkles on ... what you can't see is that every few seconds she would stop to eat a few! She's too funny!

After we made cookies, we ordered a pizza. On the way to pick it up, we stopped by RedBox to pick up a couple movies. One for Lydia and one for me!
Of course she picked out Dora and was super excited!!
By the way ... yes, she is wearing her pajamas! She did not want to take them off, so I let her wear them! She's not feeling too well and figured it didn't hurt anything!
This girl must have been starving because she put away one and half pieces of pizza and a clementine ... and asked for more pizza! She ate more than I did!
Thankfully she saved room for one of her cookies!
After dinner it was time to snuggle on the couch and watch a little Dora before an early bed time!
