Lydia's First Trip To The Zoo

To celebrate fall, even though it still feels like the middle of summer, we took a trip to the zoo today! It was Lydia's first time, and she LOVED it! She talked about it all morning before we went and the whole way there she kept saying "I go to zoo". I think she thought we were never going to get there! Hah!

Our tour guide!! She loved looking at the map when we would leave one exhibit and tell us what animal she wanted to go see next! She knew what she wanted to see and was not satisfied until we saw that specific animal!! First it was the elephant, then the giraffe, next was the bear and last was the gorilla! This girl knows what she wants!

Checking out the lion. We are not sure what he was looking at, but something through the fence had his eye. We looked at him through the fence and he never moved! It was kind of scary!
