9 Months Old

I can not believe that Jack Henry is already 9 months old! Doesn't seem like there is any way that he is so old. I am already starting to plan his birthday party ... CRAZY! He has brought so much love and joy into our house, and we really can not imagine life without him.

He is one of the sweetest babies I have ever been around. He hardly ever fusses and when he does, it's because he is hungry or tired. And who doesn't get fussy when they are hungry or tired?!? People as us all the time if he is REALLY this happy all the time! =)

He loves to suck his thumb when he is going to sleep ... it is one of the cutest things!

He is an AMAZING sleeper! He goes to sleep on his own and most nights sleeps at least 11 hours straight (except when he is sick or teething). He just recently dropped his late morning/early afternoon nap and is now taking 1 nap in the morning and 1 in the afternoon.

Check out those SWEET little rolls on his legs! The doctor said he is hitting all his milestones just right ... just way big for his age! Here is his "official" numbers:

Weight - 24 lbs. 1 oz. (91%)

Length - 30 inches (93%)

Head - 18 3/4 inches (96%)

He has actually slowed down on his weight gain in the past month, don't think he has gained any, which isn't a bad thing! =)

He LOVES his big sister! He loves playing with her and getting into all of her stuff. =) 

He is a wonderful little eater. We have not found anything he doesn't like yet. I am still making his baby food and watching him eat it makes all the hard work worth it! Hoping to start  introducing more finger foods to him. He is starting to like feeding himself.

He makes the silliest faces! This is one of my favorites!

He has EIGHT teeth already! Four on top and four on bottom. Lydia only had 2 when she turned nine months old.

He is MOBILE now!! He started army crawling 2 days before he turned 9 months old and is getting better and faster every day.

We are so thankful for this little guy!
